Law Degree from the School of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon, in 1996.

In 1996, after graduating, he was a trainee at WIPO – World Intellectual Property Organization, Geneva, Switzerland, for two months working with the Director General.

Since 1995, he collaborates with J. E. Dias Costa, Lda., rendering legal advice in the field of Industrial Property.

In 1995, he took the position of Deputy of Industrial Property Agent.

In 2007, after an official exam, he became an Industrial Property Agent.

Founding partner of the law firm “Sampaio & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados” (2001/2002).

Between October 2005 and May 2007, he was Chief of Staff of Deputy Mayor of Lisbon.

A founding partner of SMCA in 2002, he currently develops his practice in the areas of Intellectual Property and Information Technology, Pharmaceutical Law, Company Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Litigation and Arbitration, Private Law Contracts (Civil and Commercial) and Labour Law.
