Law Degree from the School of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon, in 1996.

After graduating he collaborated with the office of Tomaz Andrade Rocha, where he practised mainly in the field of Litigation.

In 1999, he became an Associate Lawyer at Osvaldo Gomes & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, where he focused his practise in the fields of Administrative Law, Real Estate, Urban Development and Construction.

In 2001, he initiated a collaboration with the office of the President of the Bar Association António Pires de Lima and Luís Pires de Lima, where he practised in the field of Commercial and Company Law, Labour Law, Lease Law and Litigation.

An Associate Lawyer at SMCA since 2009, he became a Partner in January 2010, where he develops his practise in the areas of Company law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Litigation, Lease Law, Labour Law, Private Law Contracts, Administrative Law, Real Estate Law and Criminal Law.
